Neshama Live Food Restaurant in Leucadia is under new ownership and has a new name. The restaurant is now called The Greenry Raw Food Cafe. They are still in the same location—in Encinitas, right behind Mozy's Cafe.

Kung Food in San Diego has closed.
According to their website, the restaurant is under new management – and the restaurant has been re-named "The Eco Cafe." According to reviews on Yelp.com, The Eco Cafe serves cooked vegetarian food now. Most of the raw vegan dishes served by Kung Food are no longer available under the new cafe name and management.

Colorado has its first partially-raw vegan restaurant.
Cafe Karma—located at 1575 Boulder Street in Denver, CO—serves both cooked vegetarian dishes, and raw food dishes. They also serve fresh fruit smoothies and offer free Wi-Fi. The next time you're in Denver, be sure to stop in.

Judahlicious—located at 3906 Judah Street in San Francisco—serves tasty raw food, along with fresh juices and smoothies.
Judahlicious has been added to The Raw Food Restaurant Guide. I've also added Feel Real, another restaurant on Judah Street in San Francisco. Feel Real serves cooked vegan dishes, in addition to their raw food selections.

The Chicago metro area has a new raw food restaurant called Borrowed Earth.
Borrowed Earth is located at 970 Warren Avenue, just outside of Chicago, in the suburb of Downer's Grove. The restaurant is owned by Kathy and Danny Living and serves raw vegan food, smoothies, juices, and raw desserts. They can also prepare weekly or monthly food boxes for you. If you're located in Chicago, give them a call or stop by.

Los Angeles residents have a new raw food restaurant. It's called Real Raw Live—and according to one of my subscribers, it opened 3 months ago. Real Raw Live is located at 5913 W. Franklin Ave. in Hollywood and serves:
Fresh organic juices
Raw organic shakes
Fruit smoothies
Raw food and some cooked vegan food.
Here is a brief review of Real Raw Live, courtesy of Michael.
[Real Raw Live] was a great place and had very friendly staff. It had a bar as well as several products lines of superfoods. I ate there a few times when I was by myself. There is only a 6 bar seating area, so it's nice for 1 or 2 people. The place is actually large, just not the seating area.

Tampa Florida has a raw food restaurant called The Grass Root.
The Grass Root is located at 2702 N. Florida Ave. in Tampa, and serves organic vegetarian, vegan, and raw food. Some dishes are cooked, some are raw. The restaurant is owned by Spence and Sabrina, and the menu identifies whether the food is vegan, vegetarian or Raw/Living. If you live in Tampa (or you're visiting), go check it out.

The Almond Blossom Cafe is Florida's newest raw food restaurant.
The Almond Blossom is located at 408 South Daytona Ave. in Flagler Beach—just one block south of the Flagler Post Office. They serve organic vegan food that is fresh, raw and gourmet. I've been told that a website is coming soon, so stay tuned for that. The Almond Blossom Cafe has been added to the Raw Food Restaurant Guide.

Sad news. Down to Earth—New Jersey's only raw food restaurant—is now closed. Down to Earth's website is still online, although their phone number is no longer working and the building is closed.
