Rawsome Cafe in Tempe Arizona closed in late 2006

The Gentle Strength Cooperative, in Tempe Arizona, closed its doors in late 2006.  As a result, The Rawsome Cafe, (which was located inside the Co-op) also closed its doors. 

The Raw Food Restaurant Guide no longer includes The Rawsome Cafe.

First Raw Food Restaurant in Charleston, SC – The Sprout

A new raw food restaurant has just opened.  It's called The Sprout, and located in South Carolina, just outside of Charleston.  The Sprout is South Carolina's first  (and only) raw food restaurant.

We now have 95 raw (or partially raw) restaurants worldwide!

As promised, I've updated the Raw Food Restaurant Guide to include South Carolina.

Congratulations to South Carolina for getting its first raw food restaurant.  And, congrats to Mickey and Caroline Brennan, the co-owners of The Sprout!
